You are always welcome to stop in at the
parish office. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 AM
until 4 PM. The parish office is located at the south end of the
church building, on the second floor. You will notice the middle
door of the south entrance reads "Parish Office Entrance". Parking is available in the
parking lot south of the church.
If you are unable to manage the stairs to the offices, our staff
will be happy to meet with you on the first floor.

How to become a member
“The parish is
where the Church lives. Parishes are communities of faith, of
action, and of hope. They are where the gospel is proclaimed and
celebrated, where believers are formed and sent to renew the
earth. Parishes are the home of the Christian community; they
are the heart of our Church. Parishes are the place where God’s
people meet Jesus in word and sacrament and come in touch with
the source of the Church's life.”
U.S. Catholic Bishops “Communities of Salt and Light:
Reflections on the Social Mission of the Parish,” 1993
Active membership in a parish provides people the opportunity to
enrich their faith life through worship within a community.
Parishioners may join the parish leadership to help carry out
the parish mission. Parish social activities provide the
community the opportunity to put their faith into action. Not
only is a person’s faith life enhanced by active involvement
within a parish, but the community is enhanced as a whole as
well.
If you are a Catholic and would like to become
a member of St. Catherine, you can do so by contacting our parish office. If you are not currently a Catholic but are
interested in finding out more about the church, please call our
Christian Formation Office. Inquiry sessions are held to let you
ask your questions and help you decide if the Catholic Church is
the church for you. If you decide to pursue reception into the
church, we have a process to prepare you for Baptism (if you
have not already been baptized), Confirmation and Eucharist.
Returning
to the church
If you are a baptized Catholic, you are a member of a large and
caring Catholic family—even if we haven’t seen you in awhile. If
you’ve ever thought of returning to the church, our door is open
for you. Call our parish office. One of our staff members will
be happy to meet with you and answer any questions you may have.
